I’m quite puzzled. You continue to like your ex and he knows it, but you want him going down together with your pals? Am I missing one thing? It sounds just like the spark between your ex is actually lively and really. Why not give the union another shot?
The both of you already “know everything about both,” generally there defintely won’t be any of that “beginning of a commitment” awkwardness. Now, I am not sure the reason why the two of you separated in the first place or the length of time you used to be together, but unless you separate as a result of an irreparable issue (infidelity, different life objectives, etc.), I quickly say do it. Invite him or her to coffee-and simply tell him that which you explained. In the event the spark could there be, your commitment is something that need to be revisited.
